Die Mitmach-Konferenz 2019, die in Lindau erstmals stattfand, vereint Nationen.

Es war ein Wochenende, an dem Menschen zusammengebracht wurden, die weltweit eine Veränderung wünschen. Nur wenn wir global denken und lokal handeln, bewahren wir die Integrität eines nachhaltigen Lebens.

Die Arbeit der Kaffee-Frauen aus Brasilien wurde im Rahmen der Mitamch-Konferenz 2019 erstmals in Lindau vorgestellt. Ich war begeistert von dem Interesse der Menschen an dem am meisten konsumierten Getränk in Deutschland… Kaffee!

Nach zwei erfolgreichen Präsentationen in Berlin über die Arbeit von Julenia Lopes im Centro Comunitário Rural de Conceição (CCRC) gab mir die Mitmach-Konferenz in Lindau die Gelegenheit, über ein Buch zu sprechen, das die innovative Arbeit von Women in Coffee in Brasilien zeigt. Die Unterstützung der International Women Coffee Alliance (IWCA) sowie des Win-Win-Programms der UN Women sind für CCRC ein durchbruch. Am Ende der Präsentation sahen wir uns den Kurzfilm mit Statements von Kaffeefrauen aus Matas de Minas an und alle Teilnehmer konnten das spezielle Fruto Fino Kaffee trinken.

The Mitmach Conference (MMK) 2019, which took place in Lindau for the first time, has indeed united nations. It was a weekend that connected people who wants to make positive changes in the world. When we think globally and act locally we are able to maintain the integrity of a sustainable life on Earth.

The work of coffee women from Brazil was presented for the first time in Lindau at the MMK Conference in 2019. I was thrilled with people's interest in the most consumed drink in Germany... Coffee!

After two successful presentations in Berlin on the work of Julenia Lopes at the Centro Comunitário Rural de Conceição (CCRC), the Lindau conference gave me the opportunity to talk about a book that shows the innovative work of Women in Coffee in Brazil. The support of the International Women's Coffee Alliance (IWCA) as well as the UN Women's Win-Win Program is a breakthrough for CCRC. At the end of the presentation, we watched the short film with statements by coffee women from Matas de Minas and all participants were able to drink the special Fruto Fino coffee.
